Question by terminated employee: What do you call those businesses that take the country/western photos of you/your family?
Can’t find the one I’m looking for at Virginia Beach oceanfront, but I know it’s there. These are the portraits you get where they dress you up in old western clothes and cowboy hats, and you pose with like old revolvers and shotguns, and the portraits are in black and white. They usually have you sitting up on an old rustic bar or something like that. I can’t find this place by doing “Virginia Beach photography” searches. I know it’s down on the strip somewhere though.

Entry from: Baga Beach, India Entry Title: “The beach life” Entry: “Today we started out in Mumbai and grabbed a taxi to the domestic flights terminal at the Mumbai Airport. The taxis are really tiny but that’s a bonus when you get into traffic and we did. The cab driver said that they are building an expressway to get rid of much of the Mumbai traffic. The problem is it is in the worst traffic area (which makes sense) but also made more congestion for the moment. Another interesting point about the taxis is that many of them run on CNG (compressed natural gas). The pumps are very different than home there is a funny ping sound as the empty tanks get filled. We caught our flight and landed at the airport in Goa and headed to our hotel/resort. We stayed at a nice place in Goa (especially for the price), called the “Riverside Regency Resort”. It was on the riverside (hence the name) but only a quick walk from Baga Beach. The first night we checked in and were about to head out for dinner when the sky turned black and we saw lightning. We decided that was a sign and headed back to the hotel restaurant. It was only minutes before the torrential rains began and boy were we happy to be close. We just ordered dinner when a couple of people came to the door of the restaurant, soaking wet. Chris recognized them …
