This is THE Guide for Shore Diving Long Island, NY,
In spite of this book dating back to 1992 there is a lot of good info about diving on Long Island’s North Shore; The Long Island Sound and the bays, inlets and beachs on the South Shore’s Atlantic Ocean side. If the shipwrecks are the training grounds for some of the world’s best divers, the Long Island shore sites are where most of those divers started their local diving. Great book!

|NJ and PA shouldn’t be thought of as thoroughfares!,
At first I thought there was no such complete travel book covering the states of NY, NJ and PA entirely all in one book, but now there is! A lot of people think of NJ and PA as thoroughfares between New York City and Washington, D.C., but that’s probably because that’s where I-95 goes through.
One word to describe this book: Complete. I have been looking for years for a book that covers not just the city of New York City, but all three mid-atlantic states! This book tells you virtually everything you need to know, things to do, places to stay, advice, transportation, what to expect, and more! This book also adds a lot of emphasis on the New Jersey Shore (or if you like to say it like the locals do, “Jersey Shore” works too.)
There’s one important point to note when you buy this book: This book is not only for people who want to get away from New York City. Sometimes families come in from Southeastern PA and go to NJ for some time at the beach. Sometimes Southeastern Pennsylvania residents want some time at Hersheypark.
In conclusion, if you desire to take a vacation around the states of NY, NJ, and/or PA and you want a complete guidebook, this is definitely a book to consider!
